The British Hairdressing Awards 2026 will be held on Monday 23 November 2026 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

Tickets for the awards evening will be available to purchase closer to the event. We will announce this on social media or be in touch via email to invite you.

All entries must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, 26 June 2026. Please note, this means the print and digital entry.

  • Please make sure you download and read the Rules & Regulations prior to completing the Entry Form and online submission.
  • You must enter your images online through our evessio site, as well as sending in your final hard copy images to the Awards Team, M Squared Media, Allington House, 25 High Street, Wimbledon, SW19 5DX, United Kingdom

No, there is no charge to enter the awards. The only cost involved is if you wish to attend the awards ceremony on Monday, 23 November 2026 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

No, you can’t unless there has been a two-year gap from the last year you won to the year you’d like to enter again.

  • Yes, you can, however please ensure you read the Rules & Regulations before deciding on which category to enter.
  • Please ensure you have submitted each separate entry and they are in the transactions section of your account.
  • You can only enter Trend Image of the Year once and cannot enter this images in other category.
  • Make sure each entry adheres to the entry guidelines.

Yes, you can. If entering Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year, the same eight images can be entered into a region.

No, you cannot. If entering Trend Image of the Year, you may not enter the image iinto an additional category.

Yes, one account can be created for multiple entries including entries for different Salons/Entrants. Please ensure the correct details for the entrant are completed on the entry form.

  • The Awards system supports png, jpeg, jpg, gif, pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, txt, rtf, zip, 7z, mp3, eps, ai. files only
  • Individual files larger than 40MB may result in the upload failing and, in some circumstances, cause your entry information to be lost. If the files are of the correct format and less than 40MB in size then select and upload the file.
  • All images uploaded are to be 2000px width minimum.
  • All images for British hairdresser of the year to be 4000px  width minimum.
  • You will be asked to submit a further 2 images if you are selected as a finalist in all categories other than Trend Image of the Year / Newcomer of the Year / Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year
  •  Newcomer of the Year / Trend Image are not required to submit any further images
  •  Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year will be asked to submit a further 4 images if you are selected as a finalist.

No - the entry form can be saved by clicking 'Save for Later' and returned to at any point by logging back in and selecting 'Saved Items' 

However when finished please move your entry to basket and complete your entry. On completion you will receive an automated email from evessio confirming your entry.

Only on select questions. To view the word limits select enter now on the category you wish to enter, then login or create an account. You will be directed to the online entry form showing the question-and-answer fields

• Those entries reliant on Chat GPT or Al will be marked down accordingly. We are not looking for essay writing material, this entry is judged on the content so please answer in your own words.

• Please ensure all photos submitted are as requested. Where requested for the room they should show the room as a whole and not the corner of a couch etc.

• Please do not upload selfies for your headshot, these images should be professional photos in your work environment.

• Team images should be the team together and not individual headshots.

• Entries will not be submitted to the judging panel where entrants supply and answer of "N/A" to a required question.
